Using ‘Hogarthian’ satire via themes of the catalogue/ list/ collection, Yeadon utilises images of genitalia, buttocks, ornamentation and Modernist formal arrangements, to ironically refocus processes of categorisation. The use of straightforward Latin titles (debuted in this series), further emphasises the ordinary concealed by an authorised form. Yeadon subversively considers the fertilising and transforming possibilities of a common, vulgar visual language. 1999-2004
